Editorial policy

SpaceCAPEX tracks the space economy — launches, companies and the money behind them — with a focus on Europe. This page explains how we work.

Sources

  • Launches: the schedule comes from The Space Devs / Launch Library 2 and is refreshed every 15 minutes; we add descriptions and livestream links manually.
  • Companies and deals: every deal in the profiles links to an official source — a company announcement, a regulatory filing, ESA, NASA or the European Commission.
  • Quotes: share prices come from public exchange data with a delay of up to 15 minutes. Market capitalisation is entered manually.
  • News: we prefer primary sources (announcements, filings, statements) over rewriting other media. When we use someone else's reporting, we cite it with a link.

Fact-checking

Figures (amounts, dates, orbits, quotes) are checked against the primary source before publication. When information is unconfirmed or a forecast, we say so explicitly.

Use of artificial intelligence

We use AI tools as assistants: for translation into English, for suggesting headlines and summaries, and for structuring data. Every text is read and approved by an editor before publication. AI is not a source of facts.
